JETHRO GILBERT

Founder and Director

Dedicated to enabling self-leadership, Jethro is a champion of change. He knows first-hand the transformative power of reliable training and strong leadership. As an officer in the NZ Army he formed his vision for Triple Summits as he led instructors in the Limited Service Volunteer programme. By 2014 Jethro knew that life-skills needed ongoing support. His vision has helped hundreds of people take charge and lead into the future.

DAVINA MARR

Co-Founder and Director

Davina has been part of the Triple Summits journey since the beginning. She brings entrepreneurial insight and financial oversight. With an astute head for business Davina ensures the business is action-oriented and results based. She is also the Director of the popular Marrzipan Drama which develops self-confidence, public speaking and social skills through performance-experience classes and workshops. 

MEGAN LUGG

Regional Manager – Waikato

Megan loves to empower young people and support them to be the best they can be. Originally from England, Megan loves sports and fitness. She studied Sport and Physical Education at university, and has a background in the Police and in teaching. Megan enjoys seeing our rangatahi develop skills, confidence and resilience. Megan collaborates with government agencies and manages our team and multiple youth programmes from the Waikato.

Tara Robinson

Youth Coach, Wellington

Tara comes from a background of Anthropology and Criminology, and a passion for gymnastics and photography. Tara has worked as a tutor for teens and adults and is passionate about helping people with their education and future plans. Tara has a focus on mental health and disability, and empowering youth to overcome adversity.

JOSH VOSSEN

Mentor, Waikato

Josh is passionate about the way Triple Summits builds leadership capacity in young people. He has worked in the youth sector for years and is encouraged by improvements and changes he’s seen in that time. Josh holds a degree in Social Sciences and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership, specialising in Coaching and Mentoring. He partners with rangitahi to develop skills and attitudes for a positive future.

Tanekaha Murphy

Mentor, Waikato

Triple Summits recognises that youth development happens when young people establish, and maintain, positive connections in key environments. With a background in supporting communities, and experience in assisting tamariki and whānau as a Truancy Officer, Tanekaha supports youth with everyday challenges in their environment. He is passionate about the martial art of Muay Thai and enjoys engaging and motivating rangatahi.

Sarah Matthews

Mentor, Waikato

Sarah has come from a military background. She spent 12 years in the NZ Army and gained Chef qualifications through military training. Throughout her career, she travelled to different countries, engaging with local populations where she gained lots of experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. Sarah is a people person who loves to help others and she hopes to be a positive role model to those who need it. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and likes to head out into the hills with her 2 dogs.

Di Paul

Mentor, Waikato

Di was born and bred in Rotorua, NZ which is where she calls home. She is a māma of 2 boys who she loves more than anything. If Di is not at home with her whānau, she is out enjoying kai, checking out a new playground or enjoying new experiences. She is passionate about Crossfit and likes to live an active lifestyle. Di’s motto is ’tuwhitia te hope, mairangatia te angitu – feel the fear and do it anyway’. This is what motivates Di to do more for our community, our people and for herself.

ARAM ARTINIAN

Mentor/Driving Instructor, Wellington

Aram is passionate about making a positive impact on others. Aram has dedicated his life to youth work, guiding and empowering young individuals to make good life choices, grow and achieve their goals. Beyond his work with youth, Aram loves surfing and enjoying a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. Aram is also a talented musician and songwriter, with a Bachelor Degree in Contemporary Music. Aram aims to inspire, uplift, and ignite a sense of hope in those who listen. Aram loves helping others learn new skills, and is excited to be able to support people to progress their drivers licence so that they can increase their opportunities, build their confidence and lead fulfilling lives.

Brendon Harris

Mentor, Wellington

Brendon has years of business and sales experience across a number of different industries. He has a passion for sport and has coached/mentored hundreds of people within a range of sporting codes. Brendon is excited to use his sporting skills and mentoring experience to help our people achieve their goals. He aims to empower others, increase confidence, highlight strengths and help people to reach their true potential. Brendon has a friendly, outgoing personality and he is is able to build good relationships with clients, stakeholders and employers. He has a great sense of humour too and enjoys a laugh along the way!

Tania Cooper

Mentor, Waikato

Tania has a background in Youth work, Health and Fitness and Community Services. Tania has been across these sectors for 20 years and she has gained a wealth of skills and experience along the way. She has helped others to realise and fulfil their potential, as well as build resilience and positive, long lasting, self perceptions. Tania is passionate about assisting others to regain their confidence and empowering them to achieve success.
